Reverend Mike Carr (Cheyenne) is a retired priest of the Diocese of Cheyenne. He was ordained in 1968. He is a native of Cheyenne and a graduate of Saint Mary’s High School. After college and seminary at Saint Thomas in Denver, he received a degree in guidance and counseling from the University of Wyoming.
Fr. Mike served parishes in Cheyenne, Casper, and Torrington, was a counselor at St. Mary’s High School and a Director of Saint Joseph’s Children’s Home. He served on the boards for both Saint Joseph’s Children’s Home, Catholic Charities of Wyoming, and worked in the tribunal and the chancery office.
Fr. Mike loves the state of Wyoming and enjoys exploring its back roads. He is blessed with the opportunity to cover for priests in the diocese who need to be gone for a weekend. (1st Term; 2019)
