Laura E. Veronica Cortes

Laura Veronica Cortés (Cody) works at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She serves as a representative and a connection between the growing Hispanic community of Wyoming and their needs.

Laura is passionate about supporting the Hispanic community and founded Los Guadalupanos; a parish group dedicated to introducing Catholic Hispanic traditions into the community, growing the Hispanic ministry, and addressing their needs. Three years ago, Laura sought to meet one need by organizing and starting an ESL (English as Second Language) class that now meets weekly.

Laura and her husband, Jaime, have been married for 30 years and together they have four daughters- Abigail, Jessica, Victoria, and Nathalia. (1st Term; 2021
