Deacon Mike Leman (Cheyenne) serves as a point of contact between the leadership and faithful of the Diocese of Cheyenne and representatives of the local, state, and federal governments. He voices the Catholic perspective on issues of public policy, encourages political engagement that reaches beyond party affiliation or partisanship, and emphasizes mutual recognition of common moral principles.
A native of Wyoming and U.S. Army veteran, Deacon Mike worked as a firefighter in Fort Collins, Colorado, for 13 years before he began working at the Diocese of Cheyenne. He has been serving in his diaconal vocation at Holy Trinity in Cheyenne since 2012.
Deacon Mike and his wife, Jennifer, were married in 2000, and they have two daughters, Sophie and Lily. (1st Term; 2021)
