Catholic Campaign for Human Development

- The Catholic Campaign for Human Development is the domestic anti-poverty program of the U.S Catholic Bishops, working to carry out the mission of Jesus Christ "... to bring good news to the poor... release to captives... sight to the blind, and let the oppressed go free." (Luke 4:18)
- Creating on the Margins Multimedia Contest:
  
  “Creating on the Margins” is a contest sponsored by the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD). CCHD is the domestic anti-poverty program of our United Sates Conference of Catholic Bishops. The contest engages students grades 6-12 in the Gospel call of Luke 4:18; “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind and let the oppressed go free.”
